William B. Crockett, Jr. Dec. 3, 1952- Sept. 13, 2014 SOUTH BEND - William Bernard Crockett Jr. (Bill), Beloved and Cherished, Father, Grandfather and Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Faithful Friend of South Bend, Indiana. Bill William B. Crockett, Jr, departed this life on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at his home following a long illness following a stroke. He was born December 3, 1952, to William Sr. and Beatrice Crockett.

Bill is survived by his significant other, Michelle; seven children: William B. Crockett, III, Ira James Crockett, Isheika Latrice Crockett, Darryl Darnell Crockett, Michael Walter Crockett, Syreatha Shawna Jackson and Damion Damon Lewis. He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, Cardre Crockett, Treigh Crockett, Dequan Crockett, Tyler Crockett, Ireonna Crockett, Ilise Dewanna Izarae Bush, Ioana Shalee Violet Hill, Dasyre, Dajih, Derron, Daldase, Dalila, Daliyah, Shaniya, Darryl, IV, Pau, Tayana, Nykayla, Sincere, Mirical. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army.

He grew up between East St. Louis, IL, Chicago, IL, Theodore, AL, and South Bend, IN, the first born son to William and Beatrice Crockett, who preceded him in death. Bill has twelve siblings, Bonnie Jean Ross and Evon Harris, who also preceded him in death; his brothers, Minister Harrison Davis of Chicago, IL, Darryl Crockett of Schererville, IN, Willie Davis, Barry Crockett, and Tamago Anderson, all of South Bend, IN, Pastor Robert Crockett of Minneapolis, MN, Debra Crockett-Wilborn of Jonesboro, GA, Michelle Bry and Darlene Fuller of Georgia, Veda Richmond of Antioch, TN.
