Randy A. Dudeck, 65, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his home in South Bend (Ardmore).
Randy was born in South Bend on October 26, 1958 to the late Walter Francis Dudeck and Mildred Lorraine (Shaffer) Dudeck. He graduated from LaSalle High School in 1977 and attended University of California where he studied journalism. He had worked for Viking Freight in California and C & D Transportation Services in South Bend.
Randy enjoyed doing artwork, especially painting. He also loved animals and being outdoors. He was an avid Track & Field fan, first an athlete then a follower of the sport. He also enjoyed researching and visiting old railroad lines and towns.
Left to cherish the memories of Randy are his siblings, Katherine L. Enders of South Bend, Marie F. Clark of South Bend, Patricia J. Dudeck of Indianapolis, Sandra K. Clark of New Carlisle, and James E. Dudeck of South Bend. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and an aunt.
Randy was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Dudeck, and a sister, Nancy Dudeck.
Services for Randy will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Burial will immediately follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
