Robert K. Younkin

Robert K. Younkin, 71 years old, passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Younkin was born on August 31, 1950 in South Bend to the late Robert E. and Doris (Hart) Younkin. He has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend. On December 27, 1969 in South Bend, Robert and Sheila A. Danielski were united in marriage.

Along with Sheila, loving wife of 52 years, survivors include their five children, Sonya (Joel) Selby of South Bend, Angela Barnes of Elkhart, Bobby (Heather) Younkin of Kentucky, Shawn (Dena) Younkin of South Bend, and Sarah (Ray) White of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren, Lily and Violet Selby, Jamie Miller, Andrew Younkin, Dillan and Mackenzie Younkin, and Brianna, Braylyn and Maxwell White; and one great granddaughter, Natalia. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his two brothers.

Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Robert K.
