SOUTH BEND – Vincent P. Augustine, 38, of 1711 N. Adams St., died at 7 p.m. Thursday at Econo Lodge. The death is being investigated as a possible suicide by the St. Joseph County coroner’s office.
Mr. Augustine was born Aug. 4, 1955, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are his mother, Mary Augustine of Indianapolis; his father Patrick Augustine of South Bend; three sisters, Mary Waggoner of South Bend, Catherine Augustine of St. Louis and Patricia Augustine of Indianapolis; and two brothers, Michael of St. Louis and Timothy of South Bend.
Private graveside services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
