Nadine Ann Moore
Nadine Ann Moore, 70, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 in her sister’s residence.
Nadine was born on October 14, 1953 in South Bend to Phillip and Marian (Penzenik) Moore. They preceded her in death along with a brother Phillip M. Moore.
Nadine was employed by AT & T and was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church and its Kolo. She is survived by her sister Paula McCubbins, a nephew Alexander McCubbins, and a niece Ashley (Moore) Taylor.
Nadine was a member of the AT&T Pioneers volunteer community service group. She loved to cook and was an excellent baker.
The family is so appreciative of the valuable loving support received by Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox church (Steve Michael and family, Father Valdimir Lang and wife Becky) along with many others was a comfort and constant blessing in Nadine’s life. Also much appreciation to her close friends Paula Doerr, Mary Emery and Joan Weaver for their unconditional support and kindness. Special thanks to the Center for Hospice and their excellent care.
Viewing will take place Monday, January 8, 2024 in Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church beginning at 11:00am. Services will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Nadine was the finest soul in the world. We met in HS at LaSalle 1972 class, we both went on to work for Indiana Bell and although I transferred to Indianapolis, we have always kept in touch. I will always have her in my fondest memories.
