Aaron Six

Aaron Arthur Six

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Aaron Arthur Six, who left us on December 1, 2023, leaving a void in the lives of those he touched with his compassionate and supportive spirit. Born on January 20, 1956, in South Bend, IN, Aaron was a loving, generous, and thoughtful individual who dedicated his life to the service of others. As Mother Teresa once said, "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." This quote was a true reflection of Aaron's life, as he embodied these words in every aspect of his life.

Aaron resided in Niles, Michigan, where he was a well-known and respected operator for Budget Car Rental. His thoughtful nature was not just confined to his professional life; he was also a devoted family man. For those lucky enough to know him, Aaron was the embodiment of a supportive and generous spirit. He was a lover of music and a keen trumpet player, often seen performing with his band. His love for car auctions and Studebaker was unmatched, and he enjoyed camping in his leisure time. Throughout his life, Aaron lived in Niles, Michigan, and South Bend, IN, touching many lives and creating memories that his loved ones will treasure forever.

Aaron is survived by his partner Jackie Hattenbach; his daughter Rachel Metz, his stepchildren Ashley (Christopher) Bogard, and Amanda (Darin) Sinclair, and; his grandchildren Kaytlyn Metz, Dakota Metz, Sebastian Waldrop, and Cody Waldrop; his great-grandson Killian Metz; and step-grandchildren Paxton Bogard and Piper Bogard. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Saundra Six; his spouse Colleen Six; his brothers Kevin and Timothy Six; and his son Richard Metz.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 11:00 am EST, the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm EST 414 East Front Street, Buchanan, Michigan. Our hearts are heavy today, but we are comforted by the love and memories that Aaron left behind. As we celebrate Aaron's life, we invite you to leave memories, stories, and upload photos to the memorial page as a way to remember and honor his life. As Aaron would have wanted, let us come together in love and remembrance, cherishing the times we shared with this remarkable man.
