SOUTH BEND — Dore Jean Parker, 55, was born on September 28, 1951, in Duck Hill, MS, to the union of Carlean B. Richmond Parker and Joseph T. Parker. She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1970, was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated cum laude. Ms. Parker later received a degree from Indiana State University.

She Is survived by her two sons, Ronald E. Moore and Everett L. Robinson, both of South Bend; and her daughter, Crystal a Moore of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, ; four special grandchildren, Shauronn D. Moore, Dominique Hunley, Mackenzie Hunley and Donovan Hunley;Thomas (Barbara) Parker of Vallejo, CA, and Bennett (Anna) Parker of Elk Grove, CA; two sisters, Vanessa Parker of Statesboro, GA, and Evelyn (Stanley) Breathett of South Bend; four special grandchildren, Shauronn D. Moore, Dominique Hunley, Mackenzie Hunley and Donovan Hunley; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.

Services for Dore J. Parker will be Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, with evening visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006. Visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral services will be at noon in the Laymen Chapel CME Church, 303 S. Kenmore St., South Bend. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
