The family of Joy Jeanise Redding 59, of South Bend, Indiana would like to announce the transitioning of their beloved Sister, Joy Jeanise Redding. "Joy" as she was lovingly called, was the daughter of the late Delores K Johnson-Redding and father the late Thomas D. Redding.

Joy Jeanise Redding was born February 2, 1964, in South Bend, Indiana she was a lifelong residence of the Michiana area. Joy graduated in 1983 from LaSalle High School, then immediately attend Vincennes University in Indiana.

As youth Joy joined Liberty Street Church of God in Christ under the Late Carl Steen Sr. Joy was also, faithful and committed employee of Goodwill Industry for several years. Joy was a loving and giving person, she will forever be remembered by her family as being "The Joy to the World." Everywhere she would go people would shower her with love, money and gifts.

Joy leaves to lovingly celebrated her life her brothers Mark (Beverly) Redding, Christopher Stevens, Bernard Redding, sister Angela Redding, and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and family. Joy Redding parents Delores K Johnson-Redding and Thomas D. Redding and three sisters Sonya Stevens, Carolyn Redding, Teresa Redding, all proceeded her in death.

The family would like to especially thank Real Services and all those who assisted Joy with her care and all of those who prayed for Joy, Thank You

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.  And let the perpetual light shine upon them.  May they rest in peace.  And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
