Alicia Ann (Opelt) Thirion

Alicia Ann Thirion, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away December 13, 2023. She was born February 28, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Orville Opelt and Gladys K. Wilkes Opelt. Alicia was a graduate of Lasalle High School, Class of 1968, and married Leo Bernard Thirion in 1972. He preceded her in death June 17, 2019. She was a past member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street, Indianapolis.
Alicia is survived by her son, Adam Thirion (Torrey); daughter-in-law, Laura Thirion; grandson, Beckett Thirion; granddaughter, Lettie Thirion; sisters, Joyce Freeman and Debra Wruck (James). She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Thirion and sister, Lois McFarland
