Michael Wallace Howlett

Michael Wallace Howlett, 68, of South Bend passed away on Sunday June 18, 2023 at his home.
Michael was born in South bend on April 16, 1955 to the late Elmer and Ethel Jane (Waggoner) Howlett. After graduation Michael started Mike’s Lawn Service operating in the South Bend area for many years.
Michael loved sports and his only son so much he supported his community, by volunteering his time to preserve playing field, coach and help coordinate events for the teams. He was also known by all as a funny, kind hearted and generous man.
Michael was most proud of his son, Michael A. Howlett, who survives.
Michael also leaves behind one brother; Dana (Jackie) Howlett of South Bend.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer and Ethel Jane Howlett and his brother; Charles Howlett.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later time and announced by his family.
Memorial Contributions in Michael’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
