Juanita Taylor

Juanita Taylor, age 60, who resided on West LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, IN., passed away February 10, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.

Juanita was born to the union of Richard and Daisy (Hines) Taylor who both preceded her in death along with her siblings, Rose Bailey, Mary Watson, Annie Perez, Martha Gilbert, Eddie Taylor and Richard E. Taylor. Coming from Widener, Arkansas in 1962 she moved to South Bend, IN. She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1972. She worked data entry for Western Union 8 years, a Nurse Aid 17 years at Holy Cross Nursing Home and many years as a Coding Supervisor for Press Gainey Associates. She was a member of Emmanuel Church of Deliverance where she sang in the choir. Her passions were playing bingo, cooking, bowling and spending time with her family.

Survivors left to cherish her loving memory include her daughter, Teana George of South Bend, IN., one son, Cortney (Simone Johnson) Taylor of West Lafayette, IN., two sisters, Daisy Winborn and Lillian Taylor, three brothers, Joseph (Viola) Taylor, Willie (Betty) Taylor and James Taylor, her brother in law, Eddie Bailey, her nephew, Jason Taylor, her favorite nephew, Charles Watson Taylor and her great great nephew, Qhai Malomboza all of South Bend, IN., along with a host of other relatives and friends.
