Brian D. Truax

Brian D. Truax, 64, of South Bend passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Brian was born in South Bend on January 21, 1958, to Wesley & Mary (Groshkey) Truax. He is survived by his mother, Mary; father, Wesley (Vicki); sisters, Michelle (Larry) Sierens, Tricia (Tony) Underly and Melissa (Hank) Matthews; nieces and nephews, Cylia, Angelo (Julia), Courtney, Tyler and Cassidy.

Brian was an avid Notre Dame football and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He enjoyed grilling, fishing and hunting for treasures with a metal detector. He loved to relax to a crossword puzzle and reading the newspaper.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bell Tower and Heart to Heart Hospice for all the care they provided Brian during his final days.

Per Brian’s wishes there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
