SOUTH BEND - Julie A. Hoggard, 41, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2008, in Memorial Hospital. Julie was born on July 27, 1967, in South Bend, to Lee R. and Rita Ann (Kern) Hoggard, and was a lifelong resident.

Survivors include her father, Lee R. Hoggard of South Bend, IN; two brothers, Brian L. Hoggard of South Bend, IN, and Scott J. (Erica) Hoggard of South Bend, IN; one niece, Kaylee; and two nephews, Collin and Owen. Preceding her in death on June 23, 2008, was her mother, Rita Ann Hoggard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2008, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House. Julie was a graduate of LaSalle High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University and her Master's Degree from Indiana University.
