MISHAWAKA - Shawn Scott Seegar, 58, passed away at 8:57 pm Monday, November 14, 2011 in his residence. Shawn was born on December 11, 1952 in Pekin, Illinois to Richard and A. Winifred (Kalb) Seegar. They both preceded him in death. He graduated from Purdue University and was a metallurgical engineer. Shawn was as comfortable in Europe as he was in the United States.

Surviving are his ex-wife Janette Florence of Sheffield, England; son Richard Joseph Seegar of Sheffield, England; and sister Shireen (Ronald) Schwartz of Chillicothe, Illinois.
