Frances J. Knight

SOUTH BEND, IN - Frances J. Knight, 59, of West Washington Street, South Bend, IN., passed away at 6:26 p.m., on September 30, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.

Frances was born June 13, 1959 in South Bend, IN, to James L. And Delores (Phillips) Knight both of whom preceded her in death along with her siblings, Robbie Knight and James Johnson.

Frances was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Nurses Board. She also served on the Women's Auxiliary for Amvets and was a former member of Black Expo.

Frances leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Alise (Henry) Bradley; one son, Atlantis (Shelly) Walker, Sr.; 11 grandchildren: Jaylik, Atlantis, Jr., Jahleel, Jacary, Jaleeia, Jashua, Jalise, Jairus, Davion, Nykelon, and Hiyez; five brothers, Curtis (Peggy) Johnson, Frank (Jessica) Knight, Dennis Knight, and Freddie Johnson all of South Bend, IN, and Winston Johnson of Michigan along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Frances Knight's service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, with viewing from noon to 1:00 p.m., at the church.
