Patricia Ann Tennison
Sept. 1, 1953 - Aug. 6, 2019
SOUTH BEND, IN - Patricia Ann Tennison, 65, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Patricia was born September 1, 1953 in Niles, Michigan to the late Claude and Imogene Tennison and has been a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from LaSalle High School. Patricia loved to cook, and was known for her delicious fudge and homemade cinnamon walnut yeast rolls. She also loved to draw, crochet, and listen to music. She enjoyed playing the tambourine and helping her mother work in a soup kitchen, where they served the hungry in our community. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Patricia is survived by her sisters, Belinda (Gary) Armentrout of Granger and Darla Hans of South Bend; brothers, Jerry Tennison, Danny Tennison, and Richard Tennison, all of South Bend; and her brother-in-law, Clifford Langley of Hamilton, AL. Patricia did not have any children of her own, but was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia Tennison Langley; brother-in-law, Terry Hans; and brother-in-law, Frank Siegfried.
Friends may visit with the family this Friday, August 9, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Funeral services for Patricia will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the funeral home, with an hour of visitation prior to services. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be given to Center for Homeless, 813 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46601. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at
