RACINE, Wis. - Deborah Marie Kelley, 52, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.
Debbie was born in South Bend, Ind., on July 14, 1951, to Frederick and Verda (Dudley) Burner. Following graduation from high school she went on to earn a degree from business college in South Bend.
On Nov. 20, 1971, in South Bend, Debbie was united in marriage to Robert John Kelley. For the past nine years, she was employed at the Co-Operative Credit Union in Racine.
Among many of her interests, Debbie enjoyed reading, shopping on the internet, and was an accomplished seamstress. Above all, she loved being in the surroundings of her entire family.
Surviving are her loving husband of over 32 years, Bob; daughter, Erin (Lee) Danzer; son, Adam Kelley, both of Appleton, Wis.; parents, Fred and Verda Burner of South Bend; brother, Phil (Kathy) Burner of South Bend; sister, Helen Burner of Plano, Texas; father-in-law, Charles Kelley of Racine; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Kelley of Racine, Sharon Kelley of Paddock Lake, Wis., Nancy Kelley of Tampa, Fla., Susan (Mike) Greenwood of Hudson, Fla., and Mary Ann (Mike) Kohel of Green Bay, Wis. Further surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, too numerous to mention by name.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Helen Kelley.
Funeral services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home at noon on Saturday, Dec. 20. Private interment will take place. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
In memory of Debbie, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
