Robert Minnes, 59, passed away on December 24, 2020, in South Bend, Indiana. He was born in South Bend on December 25, 1960, the son of Susan and Luke Minnes. He attended LaSalle High School for two years before moving to Pennsylvania and graduating in 1979. He loved spending time with his children feeding the ducks, going on walks, fishing, canoeing, and playing basketball at the park. He had a fine career as a handyman, and made his living by helping other people. He is survived by his children, Anthony Roman Minnes of Cleveland, OH and Kacie Hall (Drew) of Muncie, IN; a brother, Michael (Nora) Minnes of Grovertown, IN, a sister, Terri Michalski (Carl) of South Bend, IN, father, Luke Minnes (Sonia) of Bay Village, OH, and two half-sisters, Grace Minnes of Bay Village, OH and Makayla Minnes of Bay Village, OH. A Memorial will be held Saturday, January 9 in his memory. Donations may be made to the Motels4Now initiative in his memory.
