Danny Carl Clevenger, 73, of South Bend, passed away at 3:55am Friday, April 14, 2023, in his home with his loving family by his side.

Danny was born on August 4, 1949, in South Bend, to the late Daniel F. and Ruby (Fell) Clevenger.

On August 12, 1967, Danny married Billie (Horvath). She survives along with daughter, Dani (Kyle) Newman; sons, Daniel (Christine) Clevenger and Adam (Ella) Clevenger; grandchildren, Brittany, Andrea (Michael), Danny, Bella, Jax, Bodie, Andrew and Alex along with his only great granddaughter, Kendall. Danny is also survived by a brother Gary (Darlene) Clevenger.

Danny graduated from LaSalle High School and later attended Bowling Green University. He worked as an electrician with Honeywell for 18 years before retiring.

Danny was a devout Christian and member of West Side Church of Christ where he served as a Trustee and custodian.

Danny will be remembered for his love of his family, selflessness in his acts towards others, his unwavering faith, his ability to talk to anyone - he knew no stranger, his story-telling, his willingness to help and give to others, his humbleness, his stubbornness but overall his strength and fight.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family asks if you feel compelled to remember Danny, do so with a Memorial Donation of giving to West Side Church of Christ at 22987 Edison Rd. South Bend, IN 46628.
