Dominic Roger Rice

September 6, 1951 ~ April 28, 2022 (age 70)

Dominic Roger Rice, 70, a longtime resident of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on April 28.  

He is preceded in death by his father, Amos Rice Sr., his brother Garry Rice Sr. and sister Grace Rice all of South Bend. 

He is survived by his mother, Joann Rice of Edmond, OK, brothers Amos Rice Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Steven Rice of Marshall, MO, Sue Gaub of Edmond OK, Mary Rice of Seattle WA and Alice Atlizer of Concord, CA.  

After graduating from Lasalle High School in 1969, he attended David Lipscomb college and then served a complete term in the US Navy where he received a National Defense Service Medal.  He loved Norte Dame football, family and cars.

A small family gathering honoring Dominic’s life was held at Palmer Funeral Home-West Chapel in South Bend.
