Jo Ann "Judy" Cenkush 48, of Valparaiso, IN., formerly of South Bend died Thursday evening in VNA Mary E. Bartz Hospice Center, Valparaiso. Jody was employed with Dr. Lisa Shideler, DDS in Valparaiso. She was born September 5, 1953 in South Bend to Donald R. Borntrager who preceded her in death and Barbara (Bill) Mathias who survives of South Bend. 

On August 21, 1982 in South Bend she married James R. Cenkush who survives along with 2 daughters: Jillian and Jamie Cenkush both of Valparaiso and a son: Jason Swinford of Indianapolis. 2 sisters Julie (Geoff) Oletti of Roswell, Georgia and Janet (Toni) Williams of Mishawaka and a brother: Jim (Brenda) Borntrager of South Bend. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday (So. Bend time) in the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend 219-289-1000. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call 2 — 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. 

Jody was a 1971 LaSalle High School graduate.
