Daniel E. Pierce

SOUTH BEND , IN - Daniel E. Pierce, 65, passed on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. 

Dan was born on January 12, 1953 in Mishawaka to Claude and Evelyn (Veevaete) Pierce. On April 7, 1973 he married Virginia Creswell, who survives along with his daughter, Jackie Woltman; grandchildren, Zachary, Kollin, and Lauren Woltman all of South Bend; his parents; and 3 sisters, Betty (Randy) Morris of Granger, Sheryl (Bruce) Weber of North Liberty, and Claudette (Bob) Greco of Fishers, IN. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammie Pierce; and a brother, Edward “Norby” Pierce. Dan retired from McCormick Flavor Division, and drove a school bus for the South Bend Community School Corp. and St. John the Baptist School. He enjoyed Green Bay Packers football, Notre Dame football, Indiana University basketball, and especially the company of his grandchildren.
