Sue A. Marks, 72, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Center for Hospice Raclin House in Mishawaka.
Sue was born on May 12, 1953, in South Bend, IN., to Arthur and Viola (Kuespert) Temple.
On February 19, 1986, Sue married Lyle Marks. Sue played an important role in the lives of Lyle’s three children. Lyle survives along with children; Jason and Heather Marks of Osceola, IN and son, Shawn Marks and daughter, Julie Marks with longtime companion, Daryl Smudzinski of South Bend. Two grandchildren; Michael Marks of Muscantine, Iowa and Nicholas Marks of South Bend, Indiana. Her brother, Patrick (Roxanne) Temple of New Carlisle, Indiana.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Viola Hurt and a brother, John Temple.
Sue was a long-time employee of First Source Bank for 35 years.
Cremation will take place.
