LaSalle 1989 Jeremy A Winston

March 29, 1971 - Sept. 15, 2016

SOUTH BEND - Jeremy Anton Winston, 45, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2016, after battling a lengthy illness at his home. Born in South Bend, Indiana, March 29, 1971, he was the son of Raymond E. Winston and the late Juanita Rhonda Winston (Jones).

He accepted Christ and was baptized early in life. Jeremy attended LaSalle and Joliet West High Schools. He later gained employment at McDonalds and Walmart. Jeremy enjoyed listening to music, playing spades, dominoes, dancing, swimming, making people laugh, and spending a lot of quality time with his children and family whom he loved dearly.

Jeremy leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jerhad Tate Winston; his daughter, Makyriah Ranee Winston of South Bend, Indiana; his father, Raymond E. (Janice) Winston; his brother, Jocquin Ray Winston of South Bend, Indiana; his sister, Toshia Marie Hendricks of Muncie, Indiana; his sister, Janica Guy of Jennings, MO; his maternal grandfather, Oscar Baby Jones (Mae); and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend and mother of his children, Rebecca M. Brawner.

Jeremy's sister, Michelle Newsome, maternal grandmother ,Lois Jones, paternal grandmother, Cozzie Mae Winston Scott, and paternal grandfather, Reid Napoleon Winston, all preceded him in death.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the caregivers and St. Joseph Medical Center for all the care that was given to Jeremy.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Alford's Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Alford's Mortuary.
