SOUTH BEND - Paul D. Bittle Sr., 61, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in his home.

Paul was born August 24, 1956 in South Bend to the late William and Eva (Hill) Bittle. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Linda and Shirley.

On September 19, 1981 in St. Mary's Polish National Church, Paul married the love of his life, Cheryl (Arch) who survives.

Survivors of Paul include son, Paul D. (Marinna) Bittle, Jr., daughters, Amanda (Nate) Turner of Murphysboro, TN and Dawn (Danny) Rymarz of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren, Olivia, Alex, Jonathon and Ava; brother, Steve, and sisters, Karen (Jose) Carillo, Sharon (David) Naragon, Louann (Larry) Martin, and Laura (Owen) Burse.

Paul was a graduate of LaSalle High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Airforce. He retired from Raco with 20 years of service as a machine operator. Paul loved bass fishing, golfing, and woodworking. He was a diehard Chicago White Sox fan. Most of all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family.

Visitation for Paul will be Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Funeral Service following at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
