SOUTH BEND, IN. - Barry Dale Johnson, Sr., 67, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN.
Barry was the oldest son born to James R. & Mattie (Chism) Johnson on July 29, 1950.
Barry graduated from LaSalle High School and was formerly employed at Allied and later Bendix, in. The brake assembly production. After various health issues, he resided at West Bend Rehabilitation Center.
Barry is survived by a son, Alexander Johnson, four grandchildren, Kaylee, Ava, Barry III and Nathan Johnson, two brothers, William “Bernie” (Nancy) Johnson and Kelly C. Johnson, a daughter in law, Venetta Johnson all of South Bend, IN.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, James & Mattie Johnson, a son, Barry, Jr., and a sister, Jennifer Gail Johnson.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ. Viewing from 9:30 a.m., to 10:30 a.m., at The Cathedral.
