Edward "Norby" Pierce

SOUTH BEND - Edward "Norby" Pierce, 56, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Edward was born on September 20, 1957, in South Bend, to Claude and Evelyn (Veevaete) Pierce.

Norby enjoyed working at the Dew Drop Inn and Hamilton Towing for many years. Norby always enjoyed spending time with his great-niece and nephews; they were his life. Norby was always there for anyone who needed help. He will be missed by so many.

Surviving are his brother, Daniel (Virginia) Pierce; 3 sisters, Betty (Randy) Morris, Sheryl (Bruce) Weber, Claudette (Bob) Greco; 3 nieces and 5 nephews.

Family and friends may call from 1-4 Sunday with services at 4:00 at Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow on Monday at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
