SOUTH BEND - Mr. Robert Anthony Amos, 54, of South Bend, passed away of natural causes in his residence.

He was born in South Bend to the late Robert Nelson and Mary Elizabeth (Turzo) Amos.

He is survived by his twin sisters, Mary A. Miller and Ruth A. Amos, both of South Bend.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on December 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rev. Michael C. Mathews, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial of the ashes will take place later at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

Bob was an auto mechanic. From the time he was very young he enjoyed tinkering with engines. After that he was hooked. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving for a time in Germany. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and loved being with his friends of which their were many.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. McGann Hay University Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Road, South Bend, IN, is in charge of the arrangements.
