Eric Alan Niblick
December 21, 1963 ~ April 14, 2026 (age 62)
Eric Alan Niblick, born on December 21, 1963, in South Bend, Indiana, passed on April 14, 2026, in Mishawaka, Indiana with his loving family by his side. He was a loving and friendly man whose presence brought warmth, humor, and steady kindness to the lives of those who knew him.
Eric was the son of Carolyn (Parr) (Tom Glastra) Niblick-Glastra and Charles Niblick who preceded him. He was also lovingly supported by his stepmother, Kathy Niblick who survives. He is also survived by his sister, Penelope (Michael) Linner; his stepsister, Julie (Charles) Piatkowski; his twin brother, Shawn Niblick; his stepbrother, Jesse Taylor, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His family will remember him for the genuine care he showed, the easy way he connected with others, and the loyalty he carried throughout his life.
Eric graduated from LaSalle High School in 1982.
Eric worked as a Ranger at Knollwood Country Club Golf Course and as a Floor Supervisor at Blue Chip Casino. In both roles, he was known for his dependable nature and his ability to work well with others.
He enjoyed a wide range of interests and found joy in being involved with others. Eric had a fondness for Boy Scouts, little league, the mother of Twins Club, and the We Together Singers Youth Group, a youth group that reflected his appreciation for community and shared purpose. He also enjoyed golf and spent time as a local DJ, bringing music and energy to those around him. In quieter moments, he liked posting dinner pictures on Facebook and sharing his thoughts through online movie critique. He was a devoted fan of Notre Dame football, the Chicago Bulls, and the Cubs, and he followed his teams with enthusiasm and pride.
Those who knew Eric will remember his friendly manner and the comfort he brought simply by being himself. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his loving nature left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who crossed his path. His life was marked by ordinary moments made meaningful through kindness, humor, and connection.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
