Elaine Rae Reynolds, 55, passed away at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Elaine was born on May 19,1966 to Laverne Coalmon.

A life-long resident of South Bend, Elaine graduated from LaSalle High School and later took courses at Brown Mackie College. For many years, she was employed at Memorial Hospital and Saint Joe Care Center West as a CNA. Elaine enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with family.

Left to cherish Elaine’s memories are her mother, Laverne Coalmon of South Bend, IN; two sons: John Michael Reynolds and William Murray, both of South Bend, IN; one daughter, Erika Reynolds of South Bend, IN; one sister, Carla Coalmon of South Bend; three grandchildren: My’lin Mark, Page Donovan, and Tommi Reynolds; a special niece, Ashley Simmons; and nephew Kellie Malcznski; as well as a host of aunts and cousins.

Preceding Elaine in death are one sister, Crystal Coalmon; nephew Dmitri Hamilton; uncles Richard Walter, Sylvester John and Huey Coalmon; and one aunt, Kathy Coalmon.

Services for Ms. Elaine Reynolds will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Homes – West Chapel, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628. Friends may call on the family for visitation for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Pastor James E. King to officiate.
