Betty J "BJ" Wilson, 52, of Elkhart, Indiana, died in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana, at 12:45 am on Saturday November 4, 2006.

She was born June 29, 1954, in South Bend, Indiana, to Albert F and Norma J (Eberhard) Verduin.

She married Charles H "Chuck" Wilson October 28, 1989, in Elkhart, Indiana, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Norma Verduin of South Bend, Indiana; two sisters, Linda (Russell) Stickney of South Bend, IN, and Carol Livingstone of Lutz, FL; a brother, John (Cindy) Verduin of Granger, IN; her nieces and nephews, Hailey (Aaron) Sheets of Anderson, IN, Colleen, Maureen and Scott Verduin, all of Granger, Ind, Amy Stickney of Elkhart, Brian (Melissa) Wilson of Greenwood, Ind, Lindsey (Travis) Andrews of Whiteman AFB, MO, Tammy (Tom) Butler, Jennifer (Adam) Horn, both of Elkhart, Angela (Matt) Cummins of Elkhart, Allison (Randy) Williams of Mishawaka, IN, and Christina (Luke) Lewis of Kokomo, IN.

Her father, Albert, preceded her in death.

Betty was employed at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home and formerly at Bank One in Elkhart. She was a 1974 graduate of LaSalle High School, attended Indiana University South Bend and the American Institute of Banking. For several years she was a moderator for Healthboard.com.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday in St Paul's United Methodist Church, 405 West Beardsley Avenue, Elkhart, Indiana. Friends may call in the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home from 4-8 pm on Thursday. Family burial services will be held on Monday at Rice Cemetery.
