Anthony Dale Irons

Anthony Dale Irons, 62, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on November 22, 2025. Born on April 11, 1963, in Vardaman, Mississippi, Anthony was the son of Minnie Wallace and the late Andrew Irons. He carried with him the warmth, strength, and resilience of his Southern roots throughout his life.
Anthony was a devoted father to his six children: Anthony Irons, Chantell Irons, Ebony Irons, Antwan Irons, Keyshara Irons, and James Irons. He took great pride in his family and found his greatest joy in the moments spent with them. His legacy continues through his 28 beloved grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense happiness.
Anthony is survived by his five sisters—Jackie Wallace, Mary Griffin, Melanie Wallace, Mary Brown and John Wallace—as well as his four brothers Charles (Cheryl) Irons, Sylvester Griffin, David Cohen, and Billy Hendrix.
He was preceded in death by his father; Andrew Irons, two brothers; Andrew Irons and Robert Irons, two sisters; Marsha Irons and Stella Griffin. He is also preceded in death by his grandson; TaVhone Irons-Jones, and grandmother; Annette Brownlee.
Anthony will be remembered for his generous spirit, his sense of humor, and the love he held for his family. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Anthony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
