Ward William Rousculp

Ward William Rousculp

July 16, 1964 ~ October 28, 2025

Ward William Rousculp, 61, of Granger, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Ward was born July 16, 1964, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Donald P. and Margaret A. (Hixson) Rousculp. He worked many dedicated years as a machinist, taking great pride in his craft and strong work ethic. On May 28, 2011, in Nappanee, Indiana, Ward married the love of his life, Colette M. (Jacobs) Rousculp, and together they shared a life grounded in faith, family, and devotion.

Ward never met a stranger. He was known for his generous spirit, his willingness to help others, and his ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He loved President Trump, enjoyed golfing, trips to Mackinac Island and Brown County, cheering on Notre Dame, garage sales, and spending time in the garage fixing things. Most of all, Ward loved being with his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and his faith in the Lord was very important to him.

Surviving are his wife, Colette; his sons Matthew (Nicole) Rousculp of Osceola, IN, David (Alejandra) Rousculp of Elkhart, IN, Adam Rousculp of Osceola, IN, and Jacob (Rafia) Pearce of Goshen, IN; and his daughter Makayla Whitehead of Granger, IN. Ward was proud of his six grandchildren — Jordyn, Rilynn, Franklin, Landon, Mia, and Mason — with one more on the way.

He is also survived by his sisters Deborah Jackson, Veronique Mackowiak, Natalie (Randy) Kiefer, and Molly (Earl) Schimmel; his brothers Thomas Rousculp, Todd (Karen) Rousculp, and Peter (Joni) Rousculp;  brother-in-law Jim Frick and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Mary Ann Rousculp, Abigail Frick, and Cassandra Loy; brothers-in-law Paul Loy, George Jackson and David Mackowiak; and sister in-law Vickie Rousculp.

A memorial visitation will be held on November 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel in South Bend, IN, with a memorial service to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hannah & Friends in South Bend, Indiana.
