James E. Causey

James "Dude" Causey, 19, of 516 N. College : St., died at 11 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1966, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident.

He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Causey of South Bend; his father, James Lee Causey of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Carolyn Lax and Valerie Causey, both of South Bend; a brother, Willie J. Rogers of South Bend; his maternal grandfather, Robert Hall of South Bend; and his paternal grandparents, DeWarren and Lucille Smith of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

He was a former student at LaSalle High School.
