In Memory

Betty Ann (Warren) Sanders
August 02, 1964 ~ February 27, 2026 (age 61)
Betty Ann Sanders, 61 of South Bend, Indiana departed this life on Friday, February 27th, 2026. She was blessed with the gift of life on August 2nd, 1964, to Alfred Warren and Sendie Mannie.
Betty was educated in the South Bend school system and attended Dickinson Middle School and the former LaSalle High School, Class of 1983. On August 10th, 1985, in South Bend she was united in marriage to Kevin Sanders.
As Betty matured, she went to work at the Cracker Barrel in the gift shop where she worked for 23 years. She was loved and adored by not only her coworkers, but customers as well – whether they were regulars or not.
Betty was a very hardworking woman. She was always there for people who needed her. She was always wearing a bright smile that was so beautiful you could see it in her eyes. In her downtime, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her lovely daughter, Kaisha. Betty and her sister Dorothy were as close as two sisters could be. They would talk and laugh on the phone from sun up to sundown; it was never a dull moment between them! Their extra special bond knew no bounds. The love between the two of them will live on forever in both their hearts — even if only one heart still beats. Betty and her husband Kevin shared an everlasting bond and relationship. They would simply exchange a glare and laugh with pure love and mutual memories. Even in the midst of this dark and hard time, she still lights up rooms and fills hearts when her name is brought up in conversation.
Those left to preserve her love and memories are her husband Kevin and her daughter, Kaisha both of Memphis, Tennessee; her siblings, Dorothy Doaks of South Bend, Michelle (Kenneth) Bryant of Michigan and Alfreda (Harold) Peak; extended family members, Shawn (Rakea) Sanders of South Bend; Kita (Ricky) Philips of Kentucky; Jynell Kingsberry of Florida; Shirley Charles, Roberta Lynn Sanders, Jill (David) Harris and Lonnie Charles, Jr. all of South Bend; Carmen Dean and Melinda Dean of Georgia; Kenton (Tierra) Doaks of South Bend, Keenan Doaks, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tandra Williams of South Bend, Quincy Bryant of Michigan, Tania Bradbury, Ashaun Bradbury, Avani Bradbury, Kenton Doaks, Jr., Kenzie Doaks and Kamelo Doaks all of South Bend; Kamiya Doaks of Georgia, Keilan Doaks of South Bend, Kyler Doaks and Kyson Doaks both of (Indianapolis); Derrick Greer and Brandon Greer both of Ohio; her Stepmom, Francine Wright of South Bend; special cousins Howard (Dawn) Edwards and Rosetta Washington all of South Bend.
