Mike was born in South Bend, IN to Robert Burelison and Marilyn Burelison. Mike married Tammi Burelison of South Bend, Indiana on January 20th, 1979 in South Bend.

Mike was an outdoorsman. His favorite things to do were camping, hunting, and fishing, but what he loved most of all was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Tammi, son Michael Burelison Jr. (Jennifer) and daughter Brandy Burelison.
