Eugene L. Barkowski

Eugene "Gene" L. Barkowski, 51, Martinsville died at 9:49 p.m. May 4, 2004 at his residence. The son of the late Leonard E. and Shirley J. (Zahrt) Barkowski, he was born Jan. 5, 1953 in South Bend, Ind.

Mr. Barkowski was a photo specialist for Walgreens. He was a 1971 graduate of LaSalle High School in South Bend. 

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Burkowski, Mishawaka and Zachariah Burkowski, Indianapolis; a sister Judy Burkhart, South Bend and two grandchildren.
