Robert Lee Brady, Sr., 69, of South Bend, passed away on Monday May 16, 2022 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 11, 1952 in South Bend to Al and Nita Brady. He married Collene Clymer in 1983.

He is survived by his wife, Collene; 2 sons Earl Gardner and Robert L. Brady, Jr.; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Allen (Chris) Brady; and a sister, Debbie Brady.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Etline.

Mr. Brady served in the Army/Air Force for 4 years and the Army Reserves for 2 years. He was on Active Duty in the Black Sea during Viet Nam, as well as various places in Europe.

He was a coin collector and an avid home repair man. He was a jack of all trades, having masters everything from building his pole barn to drywall repair. He will be remembered for being able to fix anything.

A Funeral Service in his honor will be at 1 PM Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10766 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
