Cynthia JoAnne (Going) Williams

Cynthia JoAnne Williams, 54, of Elkton, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. 
Mrs. Williams was born April 7, 1953, in Michigan and was the daughter of the late Robert and Polly Ann Kimble.

She graduated from high school in Indiana and worked in the production department at the Washington Post.

Her husband, Edward S. "Pete" Williams, survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason McKnight of San Diego, Calif., and Paul McKnight of Frederickburg.

The Rev. James Martin will conduct a memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton, The family will receive friends following the service.
