Eric A. Janiszewski

Eric A. Janiszewski, 50, of Wildwood Drive, Osceola, Ind., passed away at 12:21 p.m. on Friday, July 4, in Saint Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind. He was born on Sept. 27, 1952, in South Bend, Ind., to Harry and Irene (Radlowski) Janiszewski, who both survive him.

Eric is survived by his parents, Harry and Irene Janiszewski; a sister Adrienne (Phil) Harris of Osceola; a nephew Jeff Harris of Indianapolis, Ind., nieces Tara (Rich) Thornton of Jimtown, Ind., and Tammy (Matt) Easton of Wakarusa, Ind., and great-nieces and nephews Justin, Corey, Jenna, and Caleb Easton, and Grace Thornton. 

He belonged to Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Moose Club of South Bend. Eric love to fish, enjoyed airplanes, was an avid traveler, and enjoyed the computer and listening to Country Music. 

He worked for over 20 years at Miller Building Systems. He was a very loving and caring person.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8 in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church where visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
