Nov. 8, 1952 – July 15, 2004 Douglas M. Kull, 51, of South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness on Thursday, July 15, in the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. Mr.Kull was born on Nov.8, 1952, in South Bend, Ind. Doug was a quality engineer with Kessington Machine Products, Inc., in Elkhart, Ind., until he fell ill.

On Dec.21, 1973, Doug married Shirley Johnson, who survives.Surviving with his wife are his son, Dane M.Kull of South Bend;his mother, Marie Hubler of Mishawaka, Ind.;sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Robertson of South Bend, Jackie Czarnecki of South Bend and Cari (Julie Trojanowski) Hubler of Fort Wayne.Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Jeanine (Henri) Coley of Port Orange, Fla., Kathleen (Robert) Coil of Murfreesboro, Tenn.;a brother-in-law, John M. Johnson of South Bend;and several nieces and nephews.

Doug’s stepfather, Kenneth Hubler, preceded him in death in 1998.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.Monday, July 19, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.Bendix Drive, South Bend, where friends may call from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m.Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Doug was a former member of the P.N.A.fishermen’s club and loved to golf.
