Rebecca S. Nice, 69, of Fort Wayne died February 11, 2023 at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne, IN. Rebecca was born August 29, 1953 in South Bend, IN.

Rebecca graduated from LaSalle High School in South Bend. She was employed by Bell Telephone in South Bend, then GTE and Verizon in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, IN, and St. Louis, MO as a Regional Budget Analyst, retiring in 2006.

Rebecca was a lover of animals, especially her dogs and horses, including Carson who was selected as a member of the Purdue Equestrian Team and retired to Agape Therapeutic Riding Resources serving handicapped children in Cicero, IN. She also loved music, especially the blues, travelling with friends to many concerts and festivals.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Helen Dunn and sister, Deborah (Tom Stieglitz) Nice.

She is preceded in death by her father William Nice and companion Clayton Housholder.
