Nancy M. (Norris) White

Mishawaka — Nancy M. White, 57, passed away at 10:27 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010, in Hospice House. 
Nancy was born on July 23, 1953, in South Bend, to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Oszust) Norris. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Matt) Metzger of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Cade Metzger; and sisters Diane Pontius of Evanston, IL, and Marianne Norris of Los Angeles, CA. 

Nancy was a parishioner at Holy Cross Catholic Church and worked as a Client Relationship Manager at Mutual Bank in Mishawaka. Nancy was diagnosed with cancer in January 2009. Armed with the love and support of her many friends and family, she bravely fought against her illness until Thursday night. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior in the church. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 601 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46645; or to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637, in Nancy White's name.  For those who are unable to attend the funeral Mass, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
