Randi Rose (Rakow) Edwards

ELKHART - Randi Rose Edwards passed away at 8:53 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at her home. She was born on September 12, 1953 in South Bend to Robert and Ruth (Helmer) Rakow.

In 2003 she married Harrison (Ed) Edwards; they were together for 20 years. Randi is survived by her loving husband, Harrison (Ed) Edwards of Elkhart; a son, Robert Manly of Texas; a sister, Robin (Carl) Lakovits of Granger; and nieces, Tara and Mandy Lakovits of Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Rakow.

Randi worked in the transportation industry and enjoyed collecting rocks and reading books; she loved animals and was a people-person.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart Humane Society. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
