James Keith Taylor

Services for James Keith Taylor, 34, of Milwaukee, formerly of South Bend who was murdered Monday in Milwaukee will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Alford's Mortuary. Mr. Taylor was a 1971 graduate of LaSalle High School and graduated from Marion College, Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. 

Mr. Taylor was a rental assistant for the department of city development in Milwaukee. He was born July 23, 1952 in South Bend and lived here for 24 years.

Surviving are a daughter Tawanda Taylor of South Bend; a son Tyrone of South Bend; three sisters Ama Taylor, Helen Coley, and Hazel Taylor all of South Bend; four brothers, Charles Benton and Calvin Taylor both of South Bend, Alvin Taylor of Indianapolis and Thomas Taylor stationed with the Air Force in San Antonio, Texas; and his parents James Keith Sr. and Lillie Belle Taylor of South Bend

Note: his estranged wife was charged with assisting a first degree murder. In 1988, found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
