On Saturday, July 29, 2023, Samuel A. Williams, Jr. "Bo" transitioned from this earthly home to be with the Lord. He was a loving and devoted father, PaPa, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him personally and professionally. Bo is survived by his siblings; Michael DeArmond, Corlette Beauchamp, William Benman, Karen (Contrell) Richmond, Steve Emery, and Erica (Robert) Porter.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Laura Owens (Emery), Samuel A. Williams Sr., Willie D. Emery, and Marceline Williams; siblings: Craig E. Williams and Kevin E. Williams.
A special lady love and partner came into his life in 2017 by the name of Rosetta Merideth. Bo and Rossetta shared many special moments and memories together until his passing.Of all the great accomplishments Bo achieved while on this earth, the things he most treasured were his children and grandchildren. This foundation began with Amy Williams, Karen Henderson, and Alberta Turner-Kelly which manifested his legacy and the beautiful lives of three daughters and a son: Erica K. Smith (Corey), Elisha S. Ferguson (Trae), Miala F. Henderson and Isaiah E. Henderson, and four adored grandchildren: Myles W. Smith, Peyton O. Smith, Carson T. Ferguson, and Lennox S. Ferguson.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00am at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
