Ronald Eugene Malohn Jr., 30, of South Bend, Ind., died on Monday, Jan.13, as the result of an auto accident at Ironwood and Adams Roads. He was born Dec.9, 1972, in South Bend, to Ronald E.Malohn and Sandra (Boyce) Malohn.

He is survived by his parents;his sister, Shelly Green (Keith) of Columbus, Ga.;stepmother, Pattie Malohn;maternal grandmother, Esther Boyce of Florida;aunts, Patty Vandewalle, Bea Ruggieri of South Bend and Helen Mickey of North Carolina; uncles, Richard Boyce of Missouri, Bob Malohn of Georgia and Don Malohn (Myla) of Arizona;his fiancée, Miranda Straup; and by many other special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ronnie graduated from LaSalle High School, joined the U.S.Navy and served for 2 ½ years. He was employed at Affordable Septic of Mishawaka at the time of his death. Prior to this he had worked at the South Bend Tribune, Warner Trucking Co., and Walmart in their photo lab.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan.17, in the Welsheimer North Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, and burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Friends may call in the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family
