Ronald Edward Valentine Sr.

On the evening of Tuesday, July 19, at 7:04 p.m., Ronald Edward Valentine Sr. departed this life, at the age of 50, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of South Illinois Street, South Bend.
He was born to the union of Elijah and Elizabeth (Randolph) Valentine on April 17, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana. Ronald, a lifelong resident, was educated in the South Bend Community School System.
He and Michelle Williams were married in South Bend on December 14, 1991. Mr. Valentine has left a loving family that includes his wife, Michele; a son, Ronald (Aimee) Valentine Jr. of Mishawaka, Indiana; four grandchildren, Ashlee L. Valentine, Ronald E. Valentine, Jaden A. Valentine and Victory Rose Valentine; a sister, Pamela Valentine-Wilson of South Bend; a half sister, Faye D. (Jesse) Smith of Inglewood, California; and a half brother, Melvin C. (Dorothy) Valentine Sr. of La Marque, Texas; along with other relatives and friends.
Family members who preceded him in death include his parents; a brother, Paul B. Valentine; and two uncles, Grant Randolph Sr. and Robert B. Randolph Sr.
Funeral services will be held for Mr. Valentine at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in Alford's Mortuary, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where bereavement messages may be sent to alfordsmortuary@comcast.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Alford's Mortuary in memory of Ronald.
