Jason E. Brandt, 19, of Oak Knoll Road, Rolling Prairie, Ind., died at 8:37 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, in his residence. He was born on Oct. 20, 1979, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Kathy (Spanos) and Steve Brandt, both of whom survive. He is also survived by a brother, Christopher Welker and his wife Rebekah of Elkhart, Ind.; a niece, Alexandrea Welker of Elkhart; and by his maternal grandparents, George and Thelma Spanos of South Bend.

Services for Jason will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, South Bend. Rev. Larry Baker of First Brethren Church of South Bend will conduct the services. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the North Central Indiana Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program, c/o Memorial Regional Cancer Center, 615 N. Michigan, South Bend, IN 46601
