Lynn B. Kepplin, born May 29, 1954, in South Bend, Indiana, was a man known for his profound dedication to family and friends. He passed away peacefully in his hometown on February 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and countless cherished memories.
Lynn was the proud son of Eugene and Rosetta (Armentrout) Kepplin, both of whom preceded him in death, as did his beloved wife, Pamela (Armstrong) Kepplin, who shared his life's journey until her passing in October 2019. Their marriage, a harmonious duet begun in South Bend on April 29, 2005, was filled with mutual devotion and support.
Lynn received an associate’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering from Purdue University, Lynn embarked on a fulfilling career as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, giving many years of skilled service. He was synonymous with innovation and meticulous work ethic, earning the respect of his colleagues and peers in the industry.
A multi-talented musician, Lynn shone brightly as a member of several local bands, with a special place in his heart for "Rampage." His artistry on the keyboard and organ will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of hearing him play. Music was not his only escape; Lynn was also an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, often hosting memorable Memorial Day birthday parties, where laughter and stories were abundantly shared.
Lynn's familial presence will be greatly missed. His nieces Melanie Kepplin, Heather Kepplin, Krystal (Charles) DeFault, nephews Kevin (Taylor) Kepplin, Gabriel Kepplin, and his treasured great nieces and nephews reflect his warmth and spirit. He is also preceded by his dear brother, Kevin Kepplin. Lynn's life was adorned with deep relationships, and though he has departed, the harmony of his existence will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12-1 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 1 p.m. All being held at Palmer Funeral Home – Lakeville Chapel, 601 N. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN 46536.
